I created this piece for the "Pizza Box Award" contest, aimed at encouraging and supporting emerging talents.
The goal was to redesign the graphics of a classic pizza box. The idea stemmed from a reflection: attention is always on the pizza-man, the delivery person, or the pizza itself - but never on the customer.
The artwork captures that authentic moment of joy when we savor our favorite slice, fully immersed in the pleasure of eating. The artist used the entire surface of the box to celebrate this universal act, evoking the desire to indulge in pizza through colors and details.
At the center is the customer’s face—dreamy and happy—because eating pizza brings back memories, moments, and loved ones. It’s a suspended instant where the only thought left is: "Wow, this is amazing!”
